Two questions I hope you can help me solve before a gig tomorrow.
I have a new Black magic Intensity Extreme capture device. I am taking in analog signal through a mixer into the IE. The signal is showing up in BM Media Express, and shows up in the source panel in Arena, but doesn't play. It shows Intensity Extreme in the clip, but is just black. I looked at similar questions on the forum, but couldn't get it to work.
I am using a new Macbook Pro. I am sending out NTSC and it's seen in Arena, but doesn't play.
Far less pressing but still important question- When I upgraded to Arena, I stopped getting external audio input showing up when I add external audio parameters to control effects in video. No equalizer bars show up in the audio control drop-down. I can't find a reason for this. Any ideas?
Thank you so much for any help you can give. Hoping to get this sorted today so I can focus on other gig stuff.

Re: Black Magic Intensity Extreme Issue
Make sure you close BMD Media Express when you are trying to get the capture card in Resolume. The IE can't be used in two simultaneous softwares so check the signal and settings in Media Express then close it and launch your capture card clip. You should have a drop down menu in the clip settings to select the right settings for the BMD Intensity Extreme.

Regarding audio
Have you checked that the correct input device is selected in resolume preferences? When I updated I had to reset the audio page. It might also be worth checking that the input device is showing signal in the windows control panel. Finally, check that you have the correct buffer settings by plaing a song you know through resolume, if it comes out distorted and wonky change the buffer size until it works. Cheers

Re: Black Magic Intensity Extreme Issue
Thanks for the help! This fixed the audio issue. Still no BM input. I turned on Media Express, see that I have incoming signal, settings are still set to NTSC, and turned it off. Turn on Arena, open sources, drop IE from the source menu onto a clip, and nothing plays. When I look at the clip though, there is no dropdown menu to change anything. Is this a clue to the nature of the issue? Thanks again for your help.

Re: Black Magic Intensity Extreme Issue
Okay. Loaded the clip, found the drop down (which was set to PAL for some reason) and now have feed. Another question- I have two sources going into a Videonics analog mixer. Arena has the feed showing up. When I fade from one source I lose the feed in Arena, and will not come back. I have to shut down Arena to get it back. My guess is that Arena is seeing the black in the feed as a loss of signal. Does this sound right? My hope was I could bring multiple analog sources into Arena through the Videonics mixer. I wanted to mix multiple analog sources together and then into Arena to mix with other clips. Bummer.
