One video 3 or 4 times the same or 3 4 small vids

One video 3 or 4 times the same or 3 4 small vids

hello,
I have an important question.
I work with video (dvx quicktime) The videos make often 1 or 1.30 minutes but I don't use the full of time in "one slot". MY question is ; is it better ti put the "same" video in multiple slot or is it better to "cut" it to make small videos and import small videos to put in slot?

Its better, or better, you'll have less work if you take the "same" clip. It will use the same resources like your other suggestion.
