Hi I want find away to control a 3d logo flash in resolume. What is the best way to do that?
I was going to create the 3d logo in after effects using the boris continuum plug-in. I'm assuming I could export this as a flash file and then I need to find an action script to give me basic rotation and scale control in Resolume. Any one got a better way or a has this script already written?

Re: 3d flash logo
Resolume allows you to adjust both scale and rotation. You can also animate these parameters.

So your saying I dont need the action scripted. I should just be able to do it with the flash file i export from after effects.

A Quicktime file encoded with the DXV codec @ 100% quality is the way to go. Resolume runs like butter when you use the correct codec. Flash isnt really encouraged at this point. You can find plenty of tuturials on youtube on how to animate parameters and I would HIGHLY suggest reading the manual.

Thing is though, you can animate any parameter you want in Resolume but you're still not going to get an animation of the 3D object, it'll be an animation of the 2D rendering.
Stagehand632, if all you're after is scale and rotation, you could render your 3D object rotating 360 degrees in a 360-frame DXV movie and use the timeline of the clip to control rotation and the scale parameter of the clip to control scale.
On the timeline, you can set the In and Out as well as the speed so could use multiple instances of the same clip to create cool effects. And if you want finer control, you could use an OSC controller (such as Vezer) to 'animate' your clips on a timeline.

In order to have Resolume control flash parameters you'd really have to create the flash file yourself. Exporting to SWF would not expose the parameters you need.
If you want control over a 3D object then Magic Visuals supports a range of 3d formats natively and parameters can be automated by midi, audio or maths. Just objects, not materials or animation.
Here's one I knocked up this evening:
Did the 2d vector in Xara Designer, extruded in Blender and spun in Magic Visuals. Then spouted (or syphoned) into Resolume.
