carsh at start up / first install

Post by redkap »

hi,

For a workshop, my student all going to have the same computer from a school
dell lattitude e6500 , with I5 2,5 ghz.
/ 8go / and an old 5200m nvidia chipset. i wanted to test one of them before.

I didnt expect resolume to be super performant with such pc's

but the fact is the pc is crashing arena at start of the soft, at first install.
i try to be logged as admin, to deactivate firewall but no success.
it never opened arena.
try it out with ARENA 4.1.11 / 4.1.8 demos, and a old 4.1.3...
it crashes at start with all version.

try also with mapio , which works. As long as the firewall is deactivated.
I can t believe that this pc's can t even open the soft...

ANY IDEA , SOMEONE??

Try deleting the preferences folder in "documents\resolume arena" and deactivating your firewall/anti-virus

Isn't the minimum requirement a GTX 8800? Hell the 5200 was the min requirement for resolume avenue 3!
Try installing avenue 3.
