Programmed cue point occasionally shuts off the clip instead

Not consistent behavior.
We programmed cue points to re-sync our tracks and once in a while, especially during the middle of the set, instead of nudging the track forward the trigger shuts off those tracks instead.
The trouble is - it's very inconsistent. When we just play the track - to test it - it behaves as expected. But after playing another track for a while, switching to this one, then sending "re-sync" cue points midi command to it - it suddenly shuts off those clips. Or sometimes just one of them. We see the cue points firing properly. So this is all rather odd and disruptive to my "OMG what's going on" psyche.

As annoying as it is, it's very hard for us to troubleshoot this or tell you how to fix it.

As you already say, on your setup it works fine until all of a sudden it won't. Now imagine having to recreate things from scratch. I wouldn't know how to begin to replicate what your comp looks like, or even when I can expect the problem to show or not. So it's going to be near impossible for me to test this.
