Broken Audio

I have recently purchased Arena 4 and am having issues getting the audio to work, I can play videos fine and adjust them with no issues. However, if i try to play audio or video with audio, it will either playback at a weird speed or completely distorted, if it is not distorted or not original speed it seems to have a popping sound. This is present in all videos and audio, even the sample project that is installed with the program.

Audio on the system works fine and the files in question work perfectly in VLC or WMP.

I am running a PC based system on Win7 Enterprise 64bit with 32gb of memory, 3.6ghz Core i7 12 core cpu (i7 4390?) and Asus Radeon R9-290x 4gb graphics card.

play around with audio buffer size in preferences to find the correct setting.

That was exactly the problem, I adjusted the buffer to max and it played flawlessly. Thanks for the fast response.
