I did not find any thread about the adapter in the search mask, so I will ask the fellows now.
Does anybody have experiences with the Expanderdevice "Matrox Graphics eXpansion Module" für 2 or 3 extra Monitors, Projectors for a Notebook?
I am planning to use Resolume Arena for a small Event, where space for a full PC Desktop machine is rare. I want to use 2 Projectors with a Notebook (500 GB SSD, 8 GB RAM, Intelcore I3 Processor) for doing Projection Mapping by throwing already produced Videoanimations on two walls. It is not neccessary to work as a LJ with changing and livecomposing elements. The Animation should run in a loop for a view hours a day.
The problem is, that a Notebook usually has only one HDMI output. This Adapter from Matrox should be able, to connect up to three extra Monitors/Projectors on one HDMI Connector.
But Advertising is one thing, the truth the other.
I need to know, whether it works proper, before I possible waste the money.
Thanks for answering.

Re: Matrox Graphics eXpansion Module
search for Matrox Triple Head 2 go (th2go) for the 3 monitor version in the the forum.
I use a th2go digital with both vga and hdmi, it works well for me.
for 4 outputs look for Datapath x4.

Re: Matrox Graphics eXpansion Module
As a note, Matrox does not guarantee that their units will work with HDMI. Since HDMI and DVI are very essentially the same with the exception of Audio, the TripleHead2Go Digital model is probably your best bet.
Keep in mind that in order for that to work you'll need to have a dual-link signal in order to support the higher resolutions so select your cable & adapter carefully.
On the other hand the Datapath X4 will work with HDMI, DVI or Analog right out of the box but it's a lot more expensive!
