Trigger different Columns by only one DMX Channel

Post by movebandit »

Hello,
hope somebody could help:

Problem: only 2 DMX Channels by Hardware Lightning Console available. I Want to trigger all available Collumns only by one DMX Channel.

For Example:
Collumn 1 Channel 1 001-030
Collumn 2 Channel 1 031-060
Collumn 3 Channel 1 061-090
Collumn 4 Channel 1 091-120
Collumn 5 Channel 1 121-150
and so on....

Is there any Software solution to translate one Channel to several Channels / OSC / Midi ? Im working with an Enntec DMX USB Pro..........

In the default personality, channel 5 triggers columns. Values 0-255 trigger columns 1-256.

If you want to assign your own channel, map this little guy:

Triggering Columns takes only one DMX channel. The default DMX channel is 5 and the range is 0-255 where 0 is column 1, 1 is column 2, etc....

If you click on preferences, select DMX, click on DMX Auto Map so that you can view the DMX Channel Sheet.

If you choose to make your own DMX map by using the Edit Composition DMX map and assigning DMX channels, make sure you deselect the DMX Auto Map feature.

The DMX Automap should be the default function and should cover most of your needs. Did you find the document with all the preset DMX channels and parameters?
