weird APC40 mkii issue

Post by coz3r »

I use bomes to light up the my buttons and change the ring lights around the knobs. In the new update, even though I have midi out disabled, its screwing with the ring lights. As in they seem to be frozen in the position they were in when i start resolume. Even more weird is that when I activate midi out, the ring lights go back to acting how the should.with bomes.

I should clarify that this knocks out my knob lights regardless of whether or not I have bomes on.

It's very hard to offer any advice without knowing more about your signal flow.

In the ideal case, if you are using Bomes to control the outgoing midi to the APC, Resolume shouldn't be accessing the APC at all. The APC talks to Bomes, Bomes talks to Resolume. The moment you start mixing midi inputs and outputs and who is talking to who, things will start getting weird.

Ah so my bad I guess.. I switched from abelton alternative to generic and that fixed it. That being said though, in the recommended mode i was getting nothing, even with bomes not running.
