this looks pre-rendered.
is doable in quartz too, with realtime quartz lighting, which you could adjust from resolume.
if you don't need the depth of the object you could rotate a 2d still image, (which would then disappear for a moment when rotation is at 90degrees.

I've tried rotating it in 2D with quartz and also with Resolume.
Is it possible for a PNG to be extruded (with depth)?
And if so, how can I rotate it with depth?
You would need to create the 3D model for example in cinema4d, then import that into quartz, using a mesh patch then it can be rendered.
I am no expert in that yet, but YouTube has some nice tutorials how to do that.
