Hi Friends and Foes.
Im very new here and i have a question about masking:
Is there any way of moving only the mask on a layer without moving the "clip" that is on the same layer?
Alternatively, can custom masks be brought into the screen set up?
Your ideas would be hugely appreciated.
Kind Regards
Custom Masks Making
Re: Custom Masks Making
Insert the mask as b/w image onto a layer above the clip layer and use the 50/50 mask option (transition mode)
Play and try around with this options i think you find what you need.

Re: Custom Masks Making
Thank you for the quick reply
My only fear is as the show is triggered via column's, so if one was missing on that layer ("shouldn't happen!")
it wouldn't be like the mask being locked in on each layer.
I'll have a play with 50/50 and see how i get on...
Many Many Thanks

Re: Custom Masks Making
Do you mean if you insert the masks in the various clips of a layer? My only fear is as the show is triggered via column's, so if one was missing on that layer ("shouldn't happen!") it wouldn't be like the mask being locked in on each layer.
Re: Custom Masks Making
OK, so thanks to the earlier message answering to my question, masking from another layer works a treat! Plus if like me, your triggering from column's, you just need to set on the layer "ignore column trigger"
