actual clip duration display

Post by Zoltán »

I would like to ask for a time display in the clip transport, that would show the actual play time for the clip.
So the time/duration the clip plays with the current clip speed setting, the current composition speed setting, from the start to the end marker.

With that display one could easily set the clip speed to have the clip play a given amount of time, without having to do any calculations.

Or maybe even input the desired duration, and resolume would calculate the clip speed needed.
That would be great!

+1 for sure

I would also like to see that extended to any parameter timeline animation so for instance if I want to fade a clip's opacity from 0 to 80 in 20 second I can just key in 20 seconds rather than have to calculate the time which would be (5 seconds * 80%)/20 seconds= 0.2 speed.
