When you use SLI, there are active outputs only on one video card.
You can use 2-3 datapath x4, to achieve 8-12 outputs.

Or you can use more than one computer, check resolume manual.

If you choose to use one computer, you should be able to output to 12 HD projectors using 3 Datapath X4 with the right GPU (my recommendation would be Nvidia GTX 980/980ti/Titan) but the limitation will be the size of composition/number of layers/effects used.

Also, I believe the maximum pixel width or height in Resolume is 16384 but I doubt you'll be able to create a comp that's the size of twelve 1920x1080 screens at 100% scale so you definitely want to test beforehand and play with scaling to find the right combination between your comp size and your outputs in the advanced output.

The most outputs I have done thus far with one computer is 15 XGA projectors using 1 Datapath dL8 and 4 Datapath X4s. The composition was 75% scale and I used one single 4K output (dL8). The 15 outputs were scaled back up to 100% in the X4s and with the right number of layers/effects. it ran at 30FPS.

there are some ways you can sync resolume machines,
dmx, osc, and you can run SMPTE timecode to frame sync videos.

there are multiple threads on the forum about all of these.
the right way depends on what you want to achieve.

ah ok...so for example i can prepare the composition on each machine (must be identical) and then sync for example whit dmx console?

i have to do a "presentation" whit some guy that talk on a stage and i change the clip depending on what they say

yes, you would then do column triggering, and on the machines put the content for a given Theme in the same column.

I do these things in a theatre where I have a fixed order of Scenes with the program in my signature below, via osc.

edit: you can use a presentation clicker with that Controller, so the presenter can control the clips if he wants with a push of a button

Compositions only need to be 'identical' if you choose to use Arena's OSC master/slave setup. Otherwise you can control different comps simultaneously with an external controller using OSC/DMX triggers.
