Hi all,
I am new here, looking for a good midi controller to use with resolume, money is not an issue.
Thanks

Re: MIDI controller
There is a lot out there and it's really a matter of personal preference but it seems like the Akai APC40 or APC40 MK2 work very well with Resolume.
Re: MIDI controller
As i started with resolume i bought an APC40 becouse i had a good chance and a cheap offer. But then i steped back and took a Korg Nano and run most of the Shows with it so far.
It took me allmost 2 years to reach the Limit of the Korg Nano and had the wish to have more Faders & Knobs
So dont get to big and dont waste to much money inside a Controller you may never need becouse its to big
For the Start is the Korg Nano 2 perfect.
- few Faders : Layer
-few knobs : effects
- few bottons : either effect parameters and bpm tab and stuff...

Re: MIDI controller
I agree that going all out on a first controller is not a good idea. You need to find out what your working method is first.

Re: MIDI controller
Akai APC mini is nice too- http://www.akaipro.com/product/apc-mini
64 buttons (8x8) and 9 sliders for about $100
Set a row of buttons to switch decks, maybe set a slider to AB fading or whatever.
I use one slider for each layers fade, and another for each layers transport control to scratch. Goes a long way.
