Been using Resolume for our live shows recently, so far things are good. Like it better than the previous software that we were using. However, we ran into a couple of issues regarding 4K videos and stuttering.
Codec:
Currently, when we tried to play 4K videos, we realise that it doesn't really play well. Does Resolume support the HAPQ codec in their videos? If it doesn't, are there any other options that we can use instead?
Stuttering Problems:
So far, when we play videos on Resolume, on our preview screen in Resolume, it looks fine, but when it comes out live on the LED screens, the video tends to stutter - it feels like the video is playing at 80% of it's normal speed. We use MPEG-4 codec for our videos - could it be due to this codec issue or otherwise?
Thanks! So far it's working good, but if we could iron out these kinks, it would be great.
