So what exactly did you tried so far?

Interesting thing i should mention is that Sony Vegas Pro has the same low fps issue with the same videos, .MOV format, different formats are fine

*.mov is a container format....it is important what is inside.... dxv, png, animation, photo jpeg, h.264, prores, dvcprohd, jpeg2000...and some more. Try to use a video analysing tool like Gspot to find out what codec is used in your *.mov file.

the file that lags a bit less at about 30fps i JPEG and the one that lags heavily 4-26fps is H264

And what are the results in Resolume when you use MPEG Streamclip to convert them to DXV3 ?
