Hey everyone, first off thanks in advance for your advice; i'm new to resolume, but not to VJ'ing and am having a bit of trouble adapting my controller. I know i'm trying to re-learn what i spent a bunch of years perfecting in a lot less of the time, but i'm hoping you can help with that.
My main issue right now is getting multi color feedback to the launchpad and buttons of my OHM RGB (just green buttons). After lots and lots of going through google, it seems no one has really touched this in a few years, and i was hoping that someone might have accomplished something similar to what i am trying to accomplish.
i can see this evolving through a few stages and advancements, so i'll start off with what i would like as my base.
Right now i see the minimal midi feedback that resolume provides, i currently have my OHM mapped to the specs for the OHM2Resolume project, however i was unable to get that program to recognize my controller, so i decided to dig deeper. I have all 4 bank channels set to the same midi mappings (notes for buttons, cc for knobs and faders).
Ideally, i would like the controller to hold a color pattern on the launch pad (ie, top row yellow, rows 2-7 white, bottom row cyan) when on channel 1 (bank 1), then the same pattern for channel 2, however rows 2-7 are red... and so on for banks 3 (cyan) and 4 (blue)... Thus giving the controller a very visual representation of what channel/bank it's on.
Ideally, the resolume midi output would be passed through back to the controller to see what is currently playing.
From what i've seen, everyone is going with Bome's todo similar things, has anyone tried this before or have any idea where i can start with this. programming is not a great skill of mine, but with the right direction i can make my way through it.
The other question i have is about capturing OSC messages and translating them to midi, eventually i would like to send the BPM output to make a button, or maybe all active layers corresponding buttons flash to the current bpm counter. Would this be better to focus my attention to OSCulator. The option of using OSC and having the buttons correspond to "Clip is Loaded" in a slot and altering the note velocity to show that might be an option as well. I feel like i might still have to run the signal through bome for that as well from what functionality i can see in OSCulator.
I'd love to know if anyone ever got this working, as it seems like it got put on the backburner as a plugin from Resolume and allowing us to assign our own velocities.
Thanks very much for any insight you may have. I can't even seem to get a button to stay lit up in bomes, so i'm obviously missing something.

Re: Color Feedback through Midi for OHM RGB Launchpad
I recently bought a license for BOME and I am using it with my livid ohm RGB (slim ed.).
I currently use bome to send LED feedback triggered by a sequencer (arturia beatstep) to my ohm.
Also I've written a little something something to flash my BPM tap button every 4 notes.
Next thing on schedule is tackling led feedback from resolume (for active clips/effects/etc.)
I'm willing to share all my files so far, just send me a PM.
