Low fps for static images

Post by thatGuy »

I'm doing a simple Alpha transition between two jpg files (800*640) and the fps drops to 4 ! While most other things run at around 60 .
Any thoughts ?

This is a very small composition so you should not have any problems!

What's your hardware setup?

Also, just for the record, these days it's all about pixels so DPI is irrelevant when you have the resolution of the image.

Make a 1 frame quicktime of your image using the DXV codec. Works great for me.
