Windows Quicktime Security Issues - can we still use DXV?

Post by craftycurate »

Hi

A question for Resolume team ... you're probably aware of the recent security advisory about insecurities in Quicktime for Windows, which Apple has abandoned and has no intention of fixing, reports suggest.

Will the DXV codec still work if it is installed separately after removing Quicktime, or does Quicktime need to remain installed for Resolume to access it?
