Arena OSC Master-Slave

Hi all

I have seen in previous versions that one Arena can control another thru OSC. This seems to still exist in theory, as Arena outputs OSC commands by default, and the same commands can be received by another machine.

I have tried this today with two machines, and the first command seems to go thru, then it doesnt work again. Should it..?

I have tried it on two 5.0.2...

You need an app or computer to sit between the two copies of Resolume. Usually filtering out the commands that you need. Every successful instance i've seen usually has Processing, Max/MSP or TouchDesigner as a middle filter gap.

Personally i just use a light board and both servers are always in sync.
