DXV codec and Davinci Resolve

Hi there,

For some reason, the DXV codec doesn't show up in the quicktime codec drop down menu list from the export tab of davinci resolve 12. ( see attachment )

Is the codec not supposed to work with all "video application that supports rendering to the Quicktime (.mov) file format " ?

I've asked the question to black magic forum and am waiting for answer. You may have a solution too please ?

Is there a good codec alternative for DXV codec coming straight from resolve please ?

Resolve is geared towards color correction for film, so they're going to support the most common codecs in filming.

You could export as uncompressed rgb, then take that video file into Fusion and use the I/O loader/saver to export to DXV
