360 panorama into Resolume ?

Post by eloi.maduell »

hi all !!

i'm Eloi Maduell from Telenoika crew in Barcelona ...

i'm asking the forum as i've not found any answer to the question if there's any way to play and be able to interact with a 360º panorama, something like a QuicktimeVR or similar ...

has anybody played with such thing inside Resolume ?
any ideas if it would be possible ?
any FFGL that could do it ?
any Flash that could do it ?

i'm a bit lost on the new Arena so i'm not sure what is Arena or Avenue capable of doing ...
any advice or clue would be much appreciated !! ;)

keep up the fader !

Hello Eloi, I think you can do the job with Resolume Arena and if It's not possible you can try with IR Mapio.

Here you have a post about this:

Hope it helps...

ei master granda ! nice to see you arround here !

maybe i didn't explain correctly : i'm not asking how to project on a 360 dome or curved display, in fact i need to project on a flat screen... what i was asking is more on the content side then the display layout.

what i need to project is something like this :
http://www.360spin.co.uk/qtvr/thetriang ... tfloor.htm
we may call a Virtual 360, or QuicktimeVR or 360 interactive panorama ?¿

i'm willing to mix something like this image you see on the example inside Resolume ...
Ideally the panorama should be interactive by mouse or keys ...

Do you get what i mean ?

Usually to "play" a panorama you use : or QuicktimePlayer with it's own format QTVR or Flash applications that makes the proper geometric deformation in real time ...

Does it makes more sense my question now ?
Any idea if that is possible ?

Ok, I understand better know.

We need the help of Joris, I don't know if Resolume supports QuicktimeVR, or if it can be done with flash...

If you don't have an answer here, send a mail to:

mail dot resolume.com

And please Eloi, you are the master here, not me... jjjjj :D :D :D :D

This thread is originally from 2012. 360 panaroma technology has changed a lot since then. Better to continue it here: viewtopic.php?f=14&p=55133#p55133
