Multiple Audio Channels

Post by Agustin »

I have a Presonus Firestudio Project with 8 output channels, but I can't figure out how to assign a channel to an audio clip/layer.
The idea is to have 8 different .wavs playing on 8 different channels.
Any tips?

Unfortunately, Resolume doesn't support multi-channel audio yet.

Are you on a Mac or PC?

Both, but this project is on a PC.

http://reaper.fm is a cross platform multi channel daw, that you can control with midi or osc, and could send midi to control resolume features.
even without license it works without limitations, you only have to wait for a 5 sec counter on startup.
For commercial use it's not free, but you can get it very very cheap, and I think it has the most value for the money on the market.
You even could build a setup mixing multiple live audio inputs with minimal latency.

there are some topics here I think, about running Ableton together with resolume via midi link, which is another possibility from the many.
