2 output screens with only 2 graphic card outputs

hey, is it somehow possible to use both monitors for the output? to work with the UI in the background (key/midi map)? its for a mapping installation and there is no money for a triple head or sth like this. thanks for your help! christoph

Sure. The main monitor can be assigned as output, just like any other.

Controlling with MIDI/OSC/DMX while your UI display is used an output should be no problems but I'm not sure about the keyboard.

As a note, since this is an easy setup, the best course of action when you have questions like this is to test and come up with your own conclusions.

thanks! I`m trying all the time... but a lot of things are confusing. for example the shortcut for disabling the output display (ctrl / shift / D) is only working sometimes. or my content is only visible on one and a half screens. but I know everything depends on my settings and I will find a solution if not I will ask again. thanks!

If you're using several screens, you need to set them up in the advanced screen setup.

yes, I know (: and its working somehow... but I always have to drag my content with the mouse to the right position.
