different mappings on different slices or screens

hey,

I´m projecting with two projectors. both combined with softedge. why isnt it possible to use different mappings for different slices/ layer?

It should and it is... but..

I finished my background mapping and the soft edge without problems. now I need another mapping for a another layer but on the same screen. I couldnt see my mapping edit on the wall but i was able to see it in the advanced window. where is the problem? is it the soft edge?
