Hello,
I want to have an external Audio Input from my Smartphone, and for that I am using a small jack cable.
What else do I have to do to get the signal into Resolume and into my Laptop?
(my Laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad T440s)
Thank you a lot,
Johanna
Audio Input from Smartphone
Re: Audio Input from Smartphone
That's all you need but I personally like to use a stereo DI box to prevent any humming issues (ground) especially if your smartphone needs to be on a charger.
Re: Audio Input from Smartphone
if you want to use the smartphone as a source for FFT or SMPTE that will be fine,
but you can't use the audio from the phone in Resolume as a clip source (ie. mix it), you will only be able to mix the audio input via the OS's mixer (or a separate DAW like Ableton, Cubase etc.).
