Hi, i am new to your great software so i could be asking a silly question ... i tried adding multiple .mov files that has audio in them and none of them played their audio, i reviewed the "Preparing Media" section and it recommends separating them but it doesn't indicate that the audio mixed with video doesn't work, so should it work? i found a question about the lack of audio in such case and the answer was that the codec might not be correct, do you have a list of supported audio codecs that i can try?
Thanks

it works, just make sure the audio stream is uncompressed wav.

Re: Audio Support in Video Files
This week I went tru a new audio issue to me, but actually not a Resolume bug.
I am used to play videos carrying audio tracks with no problem in Resolume, since and of course the audio is not compressed.
But, after formating my notebook and re-installing Resolume, I was unable to load the audio from video files.
Well, Resolume indeed needs Quicktime installed to be able to play the audio tracks on video files.
But even after installing quicktime, you need to re-create the deck, by reloading the video file again. This is because Resolume remembers how a clip was loaded before and will keep ignoring the audio track if not done so.

Re: Audio Support in Video Files
I am not sure if i am missing something but it is still not working for me, i created the audio as separate wav file and added it to Resolume and it works fine when separate, however i added that same wav file to the video in AE and created a .mov file with the audio being uncompressed and it is still not working, i am starting to feel it is something wrong with my laptop, can you please provide me with a sample .mov clip that is working for you so i could test it, this will help me isolate the problem?
Re: Audio Support in Video Files
you could try the sample files that came with your resolume installation,
and here is one that I converted just now.

Re: Audio Support in Video Files
Thank you sooooo much ravensc, the issue has been resolved now, however i am not 100% sure how it got fixed, i tried the video you provided and no sound came out when i first tried it, then i went to Preferences>Audio>Audio Output Device, it was set as Primary Sound Driver, i changed it to Speakers/Headphones, then the audio started coming out (i tried this before with other videos but it didn't fix the issue) and then tried my video and the sound came out too, then i changed it back to Primary Sound Driver and it is still working, not sure exactly why it works now but thank you for your help i really appreciate it.
