Hi all,
I need Resolume to be able to project on a surface as it's raised and lowered in a theater. I figure I can send OSC information to control position in Resolume via some sort of sensor wheel mounted to the rope of the fly system itself, but that seems a little convoluted. Anybody have any experience doing something like this?
Thanks!

Is the object lowered by a human fly system or a mechanical system?
You have three major paths really depending on the answer.

It's human-operated, if that's what you're asking. It's not automated; that is to say, I can't "tap into" something that already is computer-driven. There's just a big counterweighted rope system that controls everything.

Personally I'd look into Touch Designer with a good camera. With alittle bit of programming it wouldn't be the hardest to create a mask that you use Spout to get into Resolume.
If your on mac i'd check vvvv or maybe Quartz composer out.
All three have OSC output or even easier is just piping in a mask.
