Audio/Video async

Post by Ted Hollister »

Hi,

I'm using Arena 4.1.6 and I encountered the problem that with some video files tha audio is async.
Video should habe 120bpm, but it is played with around 87Bpm, so the audio is too fast.
When I set it to 120Bpm the video and audio is async.

Can I fix that in Arena or is that some sort of Video Export problem?

Greets

Some options:
1. The audio track in your video "must be uncompressed". Compressed audio causes Resolume to uncompress before pla and that brings sync issues.
2. In BPM mode, yes, try setting to 120 bpm.
3. Try playing in Timeline mode.
4. Try Audio preferences and use a lower buffer value.

If possible I would suggest you update to the latest version of resolume 4.

It does sound like an encoding problem but your going back in versions so much I can't remember if they patched something.

Umcompressed Audio did the Job! Also setting it to 44.100Hz.

Thank you!
