Heya!
I have a Razer Blade 2016 with Windows 10... suddenly when I connect my OHM RGB 64 it and try to turn on midi input I get the error message "midi port cannot be opened" I renamed the config file per another post and nothing else is running that uses midi controller. Thoughts?

I checked serveral other controllers... get the same message regardless. Thoughts?

Usually when i get that its because another program automatically takes ports. Be its Bomes, Touch Designer or something else.
I'd check out MSCONFIG and see what starts up, its possible there is a preinstalled gamer tool thats grabbing everything, as random as that may be.

We recently had one user with a similar problem. We couldn't find a direct cause, and the same mid controller worked fine on a different computer.
What stood out about his setup was that he was running a large amount of audio software, audio cards and drivers for these. We're guessing that one of those drivers prevents Resolume from accessing midi devices, but without knowing more, it's hard to say.
Is that also the case for you, by any chance?
