I've been researching and I think part of the problem may be the new nvidia drivers. There are many people with cards "old" video, the 600M-700M series to install the new drivers have started to have problems, some cards have even stopped working after using these drivers.

Try to install an older version of the drivers.

It is said that Nvidia is a strategy to enable its users to buy new cards that come out to the market ... If it is true for me is more having video cards with them...

As mentioned, if this problem is not solved by adjusting your desktop scaling, please use the feedback tab of the preferences to contact us directly.

Changing the resolution to the second display, changing the HZ of the second display, making the second display the main desktop all fix the issue. Until you close Arena. Then once you open Arena again, you have to do any one of those quick fixes again to output from 'Advance'. BUT it is just a quick fix. Has anyone found a solution?

All Drivers Up To Date
Arena 5.0.4
ALIENWARE 17 Windows 10
i76700HQ @2.6GHz
32 GIGS RAM
GTX 980M 8 GIGS & GTX 980Ti 6 GIGS (Graphics Amplifier)

Anyone managed to come up with a permanent solution for this one? eg rolling back their NVIDIA driver as suggested? Anyone have any driver version numbers of versions that work?

I'm on Windows 10 with NVIDIA GE Force GTX 965M with driver v 21.21.13.6909 and having issues with this bug. changing refresh rates on app opening or every advanced output change seems to be the only workaround that works for me.

Thanks.

This is a problem with Optimus graphic switching, and it's discussed in greater detail in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13529&p=57494&hilit=optimus#p57494

It's better if we put further comments, questions and suggestions in that thread.
