consistent sync for 2 layers using timeline transport?

Hi

I'm a beginner using resolume arena,
I got into it for being able to play a smooth 1080p file with audio and alpha over a live rtsp-stream (captured from external VMIX).

So far so good, but now comes my problem, to get a smooth playback from the file I need to play the audio in a separate layer. The video (DXV3, Normal q + alpha) + audio (uncompressed) is going to be running on repeat for a long time (several days) and even if they are identical in terms of time and is synced from the start the audio will lag behind and go out of sync after a couple of loops..

Is there a way of setting some sort of auto-cue after a certain time so the layers restart simultaneously every loop?
Or is there some other solution to my problem?

(I cannot use the BNP transport mode since it makes hd video with alpha to drop frames / not play smooth)

Would be very thankful for help

there is no built in feature that would launch two layers in sync,
you'd need an external program to do column relaunch at the end of your file.

strange that setting the bpm of the audio and video to the same correct value and bpm mode don't keep the files in sync or would drop frames.
for example a 2 minute video would be 240 beats at 120 bpm.

Same problem here. I can't get a smooth playback of a single hd video file if I load audio and video on the same clip. To get good smooth playback I need to play audio and video on different layer. I don't think it's related to system issues because I get same performance with an hd file or an 8k file.

I had the same problem in timeline mode,
so I put both my video layer and audio layer (which were exactly the same length of 7minutes)
in BEAT mode in the Clip section of resolume.
Now the trick is that the amount of beats (once you change from timeline mode to beat mode, a small input for beats appears) must be the exact same number for both audio and video, otherwise won't be in sync...
I kept the master BPM speed at 120 (do not confuse this with the speed of your actual audio file) so the number of beats for each clip was : 7minutes multiplied by 120 = 840 beats...

Video was QuickTime DXV3 codec (3 or 4 giga if I remember well) and audio was a WAV file...
It all ran super smoothly, no dropped frames, and in sync.
