multiple screens on matrox parhelia

Post by informavore »

i hope someone can help with this question... I am using resolume v.2 in win xp with a matrox parhelia 128 graphics card. I have three monitors - that is two monitors and one tv out. In screen setup, however, only my two monitors are available. How can i output on my tv out?

thanks for any help - i want to use resolume for a gig in two weeks and would love to solve this problem....

You can only use a maximum of 2 monitors at a time. Hardware restriction. 2 monitors, or 1 monitor and a television.

Quite common with 3 output video cards (2x crt 1x s-video)

with the parhelia its possible to output to 2 screens and a tv out.
ive used the parhelia 256 for 1,5 years now but i never tried to output to 2 independent screens, i mean configuring the videocard in a way so that is does. i always used splitters and amplifiers....
the only thing im wondering about is if its possible to output 1 output via tv out and the other via the second screen...
maybe its an option to use the parhelia in triple screen mode with the 2 rgb outs (from dvi B) with the vj output?

The question to aks is, why do you want to use your tv out while using 2 monitor output. Probably because you want to preview your creativity on tv. Which application do you use, cause there are several TV out applications (software sollutions) which do run on dual screen output.

Cheerio.
