Clip with 0% Video Opacity is visible during transition

Post by Programfeed »

This bug is also in [correction: 5.1.2 and 5.1.3] on both Windows and MacOS.

When a clip's Video Opacity is set to '0' it is still rendered when transitioning to a clip with Video Opacity >0.

1. Set a clip's Video Opacity to '0'
2. Drop a second clip into the layer but leave its Video Opacity at '1.00'
3. Increase Transition Time to a couple seconds (anything >0)
4. Click between the two clips

Expected behavior: A clip with '0' video opacity is never visible
Actual behavior: The clip is rendered and visibly included in the transition

Yup, that's not how it should work.

I'll make a ticket and we'll see what we can do. Thanks for letting us know.

Btw, 5.0.2 and 5.0.3 were pretty wonky. I understand if you don't want to run the very latest release, but you'll want to avoid those two releases at all costs. 5.1.2 and 5.1.3 are very stable.
