Hi,
I recently updated my dedicated Nvidia GTX 860M Driver to the newest version 378.66. This seems to stop Resolume 5.1.3 from working: It starts, displays a very large (more than 15 digits) number in the FPS panel, then Windows states that Resolume has stopped working.
I came to the clue that it has to be a driver issue since everything works fine when I use my integrated Intel GPU, or use the old 364.51 driver.
My setup:
Win7-64bit SP1
Intel i7-4710MQ CPU (With integrated Intel 4600 HD graphics)
8 GB RAM
Has anybody experienced similar problems? It is not really a show-stopper, but I'd like to use the latest drivers for my GPU.
Thank you and greetings,
schmenkman

We saw the same issue with the misreporting of FPS when you boot. Also seems to have stability issues as well; Resolume will randomly blue screen the computer, particularly if the nvidia control panel is open as well, it becomes unstable. Will try rolling back our drivers this week to see why we find.
We're running dual GTX1080's under Win 10. Have tried Resolume 5.1.2 and 5.1.3, seems to have same issues.

The last stable NVidia driver for the 860m is 376.54. I have this installed on 4 mini-pcs with very little problem.
You should really not be using NVidia control panel to update as they will ALWAYS provide the latest driver available. Shouldn't really even be downloading from NVidia website unless you have a current gen card. Latest driver available isn't always what is best for the card.
Use Windows Update or Device Manager to update the card and see what drivers you get

I just experienced that on my last show a few days ago and had to roll back the Nvidia driver in the middle of tech rehearsal because I couldn't get a stable output from my GTX980 Hybrid!
That was a first for me as I have never experienced any driver issues since I switched to Nvidia a few years back!
Lesson learned again! Don't update drivers right before a show!

I agree. We have another machine running older drivers - it's currently outnon a show but I believe it's around version 376.09. We are rolling back current machines to see which version stands as stable. Once we find a version, I'll let everyone know what we land on.
