I'm working on my own prefab and I've noticed my 1/D5 key on a apc 40 is some how toggling the invert option on a strobes opacity on the composition tab. The opacity is been added to the dashboard and mapped to 1/D#-2.
I can't seem to un-link and 1/D5 key from the invert option. I don't even get a map-able option to it anyways so not sure how it got mapped to the invert box in the first place.
The result is regardless of what I end up mapping 1/D5 if I hit that key it inverts the opacity of the strobe and wont shut off. :/

Re: Mapping to Strobe invert toggle
Check your midi mapping in both deck and layer focus, for both application and composition midi map,
for both the dashboard dial and the effect parameter that is linked to the dial.
It could be a leftover mapping from the application midi map to the Nth effect opacity, that only works when you have an effect at that Nth slot.

Yep tried all that knowing I didn't map anything to comp or layer focus and cleared everything before I started this.ravensc wrote:Check your midi mapping in both deck and layer focus, for both application and composition midi map,

I've cleared all the dials and unlinked effects. All the dials were greyed out again. Then relinked the problem strobe to any dial and it was still doing it.

When you're in the various mapping modes there is a "Remove All" button in the bottom left of the interface. Go through every Mapping mode and do that to completely clear midi assignments and hopefully that fixes it.Digitrevx wrote:Yep tried all that knowing I didn't map anything to comp or layer focus and cleared everything before I started this.

I think it was discussed here in the past but some kind of table that displays all midi/osc/key assignments would be really helpful. And then from inside that table view, an option to clear an assignment as needed.
Re: Mapping to Strobe invert toggle
Yeah I went through and removed all from all the mapping modes. It wasn't until I cleared my application deck mapping that I was working that the button stopped doing that. I opened the project back up and went through everything again looking for anything with that key assigned to it and nothing. So I just got frustrated and started over..Programfeed wrote:When you're in the various mapping modes there is a "Remove All" button in the bottom left of the interface. Also yeah I did consider a table. I opened up any files inside my documents and the resolume install in the x86 windows folder in notepad+ to and did a search on the key but got nothing.
This is my first experience with this issue and I can see how some kinda table or un-assign all specifically selected notes might have saved me rework.
