Ah, sorry, I should've mentioned that I'm using Avenue 4.2.1. That could be the problem.

I tried erasing all my 'Application MIDI map' settings and confirmed that there is nothing mapped to that knob in the 'Composition MIDI map'.

I really like using the Akai mk2, but really unfortunate that I can't get this one piece to work properly. I'm doing quite a lot of beatmatching, and using the other knobs is not as precise. Ah well...

Ah, it seems like it's fixed in the 4.6 update. Wonderful! Works now!
