Hello, I'm a musician (guitar and voice) and I use a looper system (iPad with a foot midi controller).
I'm thinking of using the synchronized video looping system and from what I read about it, Resolume Arena works well with midi (cc #).
The idea is to do everything in real time (play the guitar and direct the live video looper with the pedals), leaving some pre-recorded things like rhythm and video loops to give more dynamics.
My question is whether Resolume Arena only works with ready-made loops, or can I record audio loops in real time as well? That way you would stop using the iPad to only use Resolume Arena.
Thank you
Looper audio (record live)?
Re: Looper audio (record live)?
I'm not 100% what your question is but, yes, you can loop any audio file in Resolume (WAV 16-bit 44.1Hz preferred) so if you record your own loops you can use the files in Resolume no problems
As a note, Resolume is not a recorder per se but you can record the comp's video and/or audio[/list]

Re: Looper audio (record live)?
Mmmmm, then it would not work like I'm thinking. I know I would need a good processor to run everything in real time. Maybe midi sync mode, leaving only the loop videos ready to shoot in resolume and the live audio looper with ipad.
Thanks
