Oh man, same thing happening to us when we connected to X4 datapath, seven displays total... but four Resolume displays...
Resolume Arena 5.1.3
We're downloading the latest one now to just try it and see if it fixes it.
The problem persisted when we tried previous versions / tried opening various other Resolume files. It freezes on startup no matter what now, and very hard to force quit.
Ok... Downloading the latest... Keeping fingers crossed.
Driver problems on Nvidia GTX1080
Re: 5.1 crash on loading
Installed 5.1.4 (latest).
Still crashed on startup. Screen goes black with just preview / output preview windows visible, everything else black.
Could it be the driver updates we just did on our card?

Re: 5.1 crash on loading
We uninstalled ALL Resolumes from that PC and re-installed the latest, after we were sure we scrubbed that computer clean.
It started off fine, then promptly froze real quick. "The program not responding".
Sigh... gonna be a long night

Re: 5.1 crash on loading
We rolled back the GTX1080 Nvidia driver to the previous version, and it's back to working ok so far.
That was utterly terrifying though. Rolling it back restarted the computer in command-line mode for about 30 seconds, then went back to semi-glitchy functioning version of our PC. We restarted, and it seems to be ok now.....................
Adventures in VJ land....
PS - all projection/output tests still working and stable an hour later on the rolled back GTX 1080 driver (i.e. not the newest, which crashed us).

I had some issues with the GTX 1080 ti's. I don't have access to the machine as they're out on a corporate rental.zebbler wrote:We rolled back the GTX1080 Nvidia driver to the previous version, and it's back to working ok so far.

What version did you roll back to?
