Yes, thanks!.
this is ticket #9728

It does fade to black in the output monitor but not in the advanced output, because the slice is set to the group and not composition
Is this with the Slice input's Input Opacity checkbox checked? like so:

Yes that's the purpose of the Scaling setting windows, so programs that would normally look small on high resolution displays can be displayed "normally sized" but don't look blurry like they were upscaled.
Resolume 5 was not aware of the DPI Scaling settings of windows, so naturally it's interface is looking very small on a high res display.
Back when Resolume 4 and 5 were created, there were no 4k displays around so the interface was designed so, that you can see everything good.
Now you barely can get a laptop with 720p display.
People who bought high resolution displays
started experiencing the interface being very small, not following the DPI setting, where other programs would.
Now Resolume 6 is scaling just like other apps, while keeping the preview monitors playing at native resolution, which is of course a different behavior than R5.
Right now the focus is on making Resolume 6 stable, and I'm sure in the future we will find a solution to have the user customize the interface size to their preference independent of the windows settings.
Until that's happening I can only recommend you to switch off the scaling in windows to have the same behavior as in R5.
