Audio Input how to import it

I want to import an audio input live lo match this signal to effect opacity to the beat of the audio signal. How can i do this.

What you are looking for is the FFT input.

Ok dude, but today I try to link an audio line in my one only Microphone/speakers link but I don't know how to switch between the two modes. After I link my elgato dock TD3 which have a microphone jack input but in resolume in FTT audio I can't select that option (first image), but I visualized this input in the Timecode input (second image). Why?
How can i use a Timecode signal if that is a timecode signal? In any case probably i purchase a Usb -> audio input, maybe that is a solution

Looks like in R5 you only have stereo inputs listed for FFT.
I see the same with my Belkin Thunderbolt Express dock.
