composition more than 1080p through HDMI cable

Hi there,
I am quite new to arena and VJing. This is the first time I have to make a composition more than full HD.
The composition size is 2816 x 640 to LED wall.

I am now doing experiment at home. I tried to output to second monitor, which can show the full composition but the fullscreen display in arena will fill the whole screen and not keeping the accurate ratio. But the problem is, when it is not fullscreen display, I can see the desktop of my computer.
I encounter the same problem when I connect to a projector as well.

I guess the projector cannot project that resolution. But I am now worrying if this is because of HDMI?
The composition is more than full HD, can HDMI output a 2816 x 640 composition to the LED? (the performance will happen next week)

My setup:
Macbook Pro 2017 with touch bar
resolution: 2880 x 1800
output: HDMI
cable: 4K cable
Arena 5

Ask the led technicians to send you a layout of the led processor's input.
The processor most likely won't run at the resolution you set your composition to, but rather use a standard resolution, then slices it up to the led segments.
