Re: PLEASE HELP !!! Stutters

Sorry, last answer is out of quote....

I'm trying the demo of Arena 6 and setting the output to 25 frame makes things a LOT better.
I suspect that with 5 there is some mismatch between 25 and 50 outputs.
Before I upgrade to 6, any known issue I should be aware of?
I will work with timecode and a decklink duo2 for a single FHD 50i input

Thank you

Stefano

As you already have Resolume 6 installed, you can try anything you like, the only difference between a demo Resolume and a registered Resolume is the occasional watermark, and robot voice reminder.
You may experience some issues when you import your old compositions, but Resolume 6 updates will come more frequently than previous versions.

If it's the display refresh rate mismatch that causes the stutters, you may be able to force the faster display to the same refresh rate than the slower.
In windows display preferences, on the bottom you can open the adapter preferences where you can find the Monitor tab with the supported refresh rates.

Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

Yes, I'm using Arena 6 in demo with logo for rehearsals and if everything is OK later I will upgrade.

I cannot lower refresh rates because the transceivers DVI->Fiber edid's cannot go to 25.

Soon I will have a Datapath FX4 to try, so I can go at 50 with all outputs.

By the way Arena 6 is a HUGE step forward, regarding power and usability....
I've found couple of bugs (or things that I'm doing wrong) and I will make a new thread for that.

Thank you

Stefano
