Hi all:
Here's the situation:
Resolume Arena 6
Footage attempted at DXV 2.2 and 3.0 at 30p and 23.976, resolution of 2048x1536, 10 minutes in length. With Alpha.
Tested on BOTH a Windows 10 machine with a GTX 980 and a MacBook Pro (2014).
Composition size tested widely.
When setting the opacity of the clip to fade-in, the first frame of the clip maxes out at 100% in a flicker before fading on smoothly. I'm attaching a video (crudely & quickly captured on my cell phone) to demonstrate. See it here:

Would greatly appreciate any advice. Otherwise I will have to rebuild the show in Resolume 5 which I really don't want to do...
At this point, my only guess I've got is that the length or size of the clip is preventing Resolume from loading it properly? Very frustrating. Thank you all so much for your time.

Re: Catastrophic Flicker Problem in 6
I ran into that on my last show as well and reported it to the devs so I believe they're working on it.
In the meantime, set your transition time on that layer to 0.2s (200ms or 6 frames at 30FPS) and that glitch should be "gone".

Ah ha! That workaround has mitigated the problem. Thank you so much. And yes, I'd second that request for the Devs to take a look at that. I don't need it here, but there might be an occasion when even a 200ms fade is too long.
Also, great to hear from you, Frederic! I should have suspected you'd be the Resolume expert to have the answer.

Hi David, good to hear from you and I hope you're doing well in LA.
R6 was such a big release that there is still a few little hiccups but for it's been stable enough to run some high-profile shows so I'm glad this work-around solution is working as a band-aid for now!

Just wondering if there's been any update to this glitch?
