Hello, all!
I've been utilizing Arena 5 for the past year and just upgraded to Arena 6 over the weekend. Prior to upgrading, Arena 5 randomly developed issues after a few months with recognizing the ASIO capabilities of my Roland Edirol UA-25. In the audio preferences of the software, the hardware would be appear as a selectable item, but upon clicking, it would revert to the standard "OUT (UA-25)" which does not allow me to select ASIO as the audio input device. The ASIO option appears as a greyed out option under "Audio Input Device". After much troubleshooting, the only process that continuously fixed the issue would be as follows:
Set Audio Output Device as "Primary Sound Driver"
Close Arena
Unplug UA-25
Restart Arena
Confirm Audio Output remained set as "Primary Sound Driver"
Close Arena
Plug in UA-25
Restart Arena
This would somehow reset Arena's acceptance of ASIO. The issue would only reappear if I accidentally used the upper right corner "X" to close the software instead of Application>Quit. Upon installation of Arena 6, none of my previous troubleshooting methods have resolved this. ASIO interaction has been entirely unavailable to me at this point and I'm out of ideas on how to approach the issue.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced an issue like this or has thoughts on an effective approach to troubleshooting. Thank you for your time!

Arena 6 - ASIO recognition issues exacerbated
Re: Arena 6 - ASIO recognition issues exacerbated
Update: After uninstalling all previous version of Arena 5 (5.1.2, 5.1.3 and 5.1.4) and restarting, Arena 6 finally allowed me to access ASIO. Other programs, such as Ableton, were still able to access my ASIO driver during all of this troubleshooting, so I'm certain this issue wasn't that it was being occupied by another application. However, my technical understanding of how having the previous version installed prevented this interaction is null. I would like to still have 5.1.4 installed in case of emergency, but ASIO is vital to both my preparation and performance, so, as it currently stands, I don't think that is possible. Any thoughts are welcome.
Update 2: This fix seems to have been a temporary recognition. Arena 6 would not accept any audio input from ASIO. Software crashed when trying to close and would no longer allow me to select ASIO as my active devices. This is the same behavior Arena 5 displayed except, as previously described, the workarounds of the previous version do not work. Before uninstalling Arena 5, I tested its ability to received ASIO and was successful in doing so. Stuck again.
