exclude layer from feedback loop

Post by reteet »

Hello, I recently bought resolume 6 to play some animations I've been making, I have this project where I'm projecting DJ's table and then stuff around and above it.

So the problem is that I would like the dj table to not be affected by the feedback generator, only the other clips in composition. How should I do this? I have tried using the clips in different layers but whenever i put the feedback generator layer on it loops the whole composition including table. I hope you understand what I mean

Thanks in advance!

The Feedback source takes the composition texture and shows it, so if you want to exclude a layer you need to exclude it from the composition texture.
What you could do is, put a Video router clip(1) below the layers you want to exclude, play it.
Then place another Video router (2) where you would place your Feedback, and set it's input to the Layer where video router 1 is playing.

Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch
