Newtek NDI Camera anyone

Newtek launches the NDI Camera. Meaning any camera from mobile devices can now be a NDI source.
It seems not to be free thoug. But also not expensive. Anyone tried that already?

If you are talking about the app "NDI Camera" then yes I've tested and I love it. It's totally worth the $20 it costs. As a head's up it works best with a dedicated network. I'm actually planning a show next year with 4 iPhones in the crowd on top of 3 broadcast cameras.

I've been doing this for about 10 months now.

I have a wireless AC router on stage with a shielded Cat6 backbone to FOH, FOH has a gigabit Ethernet switch to my Laptop. I give crew members on stage an app and they're on my network, and the DJ table has 2 IP cameras hardwired into the switch on stage.

I'll occasionally give a few of the hardcore fans (you'll know them because they sleep at the front row before the show kicks off) the app as well, but those angles typically sucks as they're moving way to much.

Add a shiftrgb or delayrgb fx to the feeds or a feedback fx and you can have a lot of fun with it live.

IPCAM2SYPHON is another great app to utilize if you're into this sort of thing.

How simple is this to setup one single camera/cell phone as an input source.
For each camera/device being used it would be a new app, meaning more $20, right?

Connect phone to same network as your Resolume machine via Wi-Fi, start app , push buton in app, drag NDI source into composition, launch clip.

I think on android you can use the apps you bought with your Google account on as many devices as you have that account assigned to.
I don't know how it is on IOS.

Same deal with the iPhone iPad as long as they’re on the same account.

And you can be up and running under a minute.
