R 6.0.2 thumbnails not showing correct previews

in avenue, r 6.0.2, the thumbnails of several clips ( especially with .gifs ) not showing the correct preview image

Could you send us some example files and screenshots how they look?

could you also send us the files for which the thumbnail creation fails?
What happens if you select the files and press Command + Shift +T are the thumbnails created fine?
