*newb question* about SOUND-IN

Post by dreamtk »

okay:P *clears throat*

see i just don't undrestand the whole sound-in thingymajig :(

Is it possible to have an .MP3 file playing within Resolume so i can 'RECORD' a beat-matched video ? .... simliar to what you can do with Arkaos ?

and if so, i'm guessing that 25% playback speed-increase bug, would warp the sound anyway. hmmmmm

The sound-in thing.. does not get an official beatmatch thing. You can give the controls react on the sound.
By an transition you can choose to play the transition (from 0-127, 0-127) with an normal speed, but when you have an sound signal then the speed react on the speed of the sound.

With effects you can do the same.

Just set the recording-in from your soundcard at the good line-in/cdrom/wave

en voila.

You will get better results if you record to a DV camera, a DVD recorder or some other recording device. It is not practical to use your HD for this since the computer is already occupaied by running your mix.
