dvd-max, 2nd screen?

Post by cbit »

not sure if its a bug or user error.

not sure if its possible but im trying to use the monitor output of my acer 1310 laptop (plugged into a monitor) to provide an independant display (to have the full control panel on my laptop screen, and the fullscreen output on my monitor).

In the screen setup page i have the choice of enabling dvd-max. But no further options under the dvd-max icon.. so the second monitor always displays the same as what's shown on my laptop's screen.

Is it not possible to do what i'm trying to with my setup? or am i doing something wrong? (or is it a bug?)

sorry for the newbieism

yeah am having the same problem. can estend the deskyop onto my tv screen. but as soon as i try to use resolume with it the thing crashes. You can enable the extra monitor thru the control panel > Display. I was just about to up date the video controler on my Acer intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller. But will think again. if you get it working please post the solution.
THANKS
